Services
As a psychotherapist I offer individual sessions to adolescents and adults, with the aim of providing a space of safety, acceptance and genuine exploration. I also work with couples who want to improve their communication and their relationship, and with parents and prospective parents.
Individual psychotherapy
Adults
Through the therapeutic process we look for new perspectives and new ways of understanding, which can lead to greater self-awareness, self-confidence and a more meaningful connection with our needs and desires.
Individual psychotherapy can support people living with anxiety, difficulties in their relationships, periods of change or loss, or a sense of being stuck, as well as those who wish to understand themselves more deeply.
Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place weekly.
Adolescents
Adolescence is a time of intense change, in which young people have to manage physical, emotional and social changes while also searching for their identity and their place in the world.
Psychotherapy offers a safe and supportive setting in which adolescents can express their thoughts and feelings, understand themselves better and learn to manage the difficulties of this important stage of development.
Common concerns include anxiety and phobias, school performance, mood and anger, relationships with peers and family, sexuality and identity, eating, and internet use.
With respect for each adolescent's individuality, the therapeutic process aims to strengthen their self-knowledge, emotional resilience and autonomy, so that they can meet the challenges of adolescence and move towards adulthood feeling more secure.
Group psychotherapy
Group psychotherapy offers a safe space in which members can share thoughts, feelings and personal experiences, and explore the way they relate to others.
Taking part and interacting with the other members creates a lived experience that can lead to new understanding, greater self-knowledge and meaningful change in relationships and in personal life.
The therapy group meets weekly for two hours, under the responsibility and supervision of two therapists.
Couples therapy
Couples therapy offers a safe space where partners can speak, be heard and better understand the patterns of interaction that shape their relationship.
Through dialogue we explore each partner's needs, feelings and ways of communicating, looking for new ways of connecting, of closeness and of mutual understanding. The aim is to strengthen emotional communication and to build a more alive and meaningful relationship.
Sessions last 80 minutes and usually take place every two weeks.
Parent counselling
Parent counselling offers a space for support, exploration and dialogue, where parents can voice their difficulties and concerns, work through their feelings and gain a deeper understanding of the needs of their children and adolescents.
Through discussion and reflection on parenting, relationships and family life, the aim is to strengthen parents in their role and to nurture a safe and supportive setting for the whole family.
Parent counselling sessions can take place alongside the child's or adolescent's therapy or independently of it. Sessions last 80 minutes and usually take place every two weeks.
Psychological support in the perinatal period
The perinatal period, from pregnancy through the first months after birth, is a time of significant emotional and personal change. The transition to parenthood can bring joy and anticipation, but also worry, insecurity and difficulty.
Perinatal psychological support offers a safe space to work through these feelings, to manage the changes and to strengthen the relationship with one's partner and with the baby. It is for pregnant women, new mothers and couples.
The aim is to give real support to the mother and the couple, so that the transition to parenthood can happen with greater security, care and emotional connection.
Psychological and counselling support in assisted reproduction
Infertility and the process of IVF can be a particularly demanding and stressful experience, affecting both the individual and the couple's relationship emotionally.
Counselling offers a safe space to express and work through thoughts and feelings, to explore fears and expectations, and to look for more effective ways of managing stress and outside pressures.
It can also strengthen communication between partners and their ability to support each other through this difficult time.
Online sessions
Online psychotherapy sessions make therapeutic support possible for people who cannot get to the practice, and for people living in other areas or abroad. They follow the same principles of ethics, confidentiality and therapeutic privacy as sessions in person.
To keep the therapeutic setting right, it is important that you are somewhere private and quiet for the whole of the session.
